We have all heard that zero leak liner systems are not possible in the real world and we should target Acceptable Action Leakage Rates (ALR). Well, don’t tell this is to the Palo Verde Nuclear Generation Station (PVNGS). They have raised the bar on field quality and redefined the industry’s expectations through installation of 136 million square feet of geosynthetics materials with zero leaks.
Glen Toepfer, Principal at CQA Solutions, Ltd. will tell the story of this winning project at Geosynthetics 2015, along with fellow panel members Chris Eichelberger, American Environmental Group, Ltd. (AEGL) and Shabbir Pittalwala, Arizona Public Services (APS)
The Possibility of Zero Leaks was one of six panel discussion proposals selected for the conference, which will be held February 15-18, 2015 in Portland, Oregon.
Geosynthetics 2015 is powered by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), a non-profit trade association that represents the global specialty fabrics market.
