Destructs are evil yet necessary little 😈 devils 😈! Gaping holes cut into perfectly good geomembrane seams, patched with inferior welding and turning our pretty liners into ugly patchwork quilts. Are destructs even necessary? Are we needlessly cutting into perfectly good seams???
Understanding weld quality is crucial to ensuring containment. So, unfortunately, until a new technology is developed, destructive sampling is here to stay.
In this webinar, I’ll discuss best practices for putting destructive samples to work for you while minimizing negative impact on your project. We’ll examine the basics, such as sample locations and reviewing laboratory results, and more complex aspects (material interfaces, proper tracking) as well as mining the project data.
There’s way more to destructive sampling than it may “seam!”
