CQA Solutions, Ltd. is a professional consulting firm focused on construction quality assurance (CQA) of earthwork and geosynthetics projects. We offer a wide range of technical support services and cutting edge products and are committed to promoting excellence in the industry.
We are currently expanding our CQA staff and are looking for entry-level field assistant positions, as well as experienced CQA technicians. All candidates must be detail-oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills and be safety conscious. Primary responsibilities will include observation and documentation of construction procedures, field sampling/testing and interpretation of results, and interaction with clients and contractor.
Higher-level positions may also require management CQA crews. Specific requirements include being physically able to perform work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions, lift and carry equipment up to 60 pounds, walk up and down slopes and uneven surfaces, perform mathematical calculations, work weekends and extended hours as needed, and travel as needed for extended periods of time.
GRI-GCI certification in geosynthetics and/or compacted clay liners desired for Technician III and above positions; nuclear gauge operator certification desired for Technician I and above positions. OSHA 40 hour HAZWHOPER training, survey experience a plus.
