Any time you hire a third-party firm to do your field work, you are assuming risk. Will they get the job done correctly and efficiently? Do they have the know-how?
While third-party consulting is mandated in portions of the containment industry as a check and balance, there is quite a difference between what we do and the established “norm.”
The CQA we perform is independent of an “in-house” engineer. This provides another layer of security for an owner or regulator.
